Crazy how little freeboard there is!!
Its kind confusing with the pics......cause these boats run pretty high and dry with high gunnels .......just google/youtube twister 24 c3... However, Kap's build it appears those seats sit up quite high on the flat floor....so it looks like you are sitting with a lot of body outside the boat.

When we left the second sandbar on the way down to Martinez I was 3rd in line with a little 20' Stoker with 4 people, 3 ice chests and a bimini. It was quite the adrenaline rush running behind that bad ass C3 (Green/white with 300R).

Does anyone know who makes that boat? It was gorgeous...

It is a 24 Widebody Twister out of Finland. I imported the hull and it needed a lot of work. This was a three year project and counting. We were having a lot of fun on this Lower River Run. One thing about that boat it can flat azz turn and handles chop easily very soft ride.

Great write up! Looked like you guys had a great time even with the problems 👍
As others have stated, your boat is so good looking!!

What's that little cat with similar colors to yours says "C3" on the side or something like that. That thing looks like fun.

Thanks for posting!

It is a very fun ride and hella quick in the acceleration department. They race this hull in the North Atlantic in a class called C-3 Single engine outboards very impressive hull in rough water for it's size. I wanted a single engine cat that could handle busy weekends and be easy to haul azz and maintain.

The freeboard is relatively low problem is as with most true tunnels you sit on the tunnel. I use it in the ocean and river very capable boat.

I still have my 32 DW for big events and poker runs. I see a repower in the near future for my DW. For now my 300XS motors are plenty fast.

Thanks for the kind words.

Well when I get the boat all dialed in River Dave and I will do a nice write up on this build journey. It really is a journey and a build project that has spanned over three years.

I just need to get her in the speed zone right now for LOTO then we will do a nice photo gallery and write up.

Dam that boat/hull is so awesome. I looked up videos and they just cut right through the chop. I will own one, one day!

I can tell you it is one of the softest riding small cats I have ever driven. I hit swells and don't have to cringe this one just dances softly over it like a much bigger boat. Plus, it holds four people safely and hauls the mail. One last thing it can flat out turn...damn near throw you out if your not careful.

Looks like you’d get motion sickness from all the bouncing it does at cruising speed though
