Orange County Transmission Shops?

Good morning, any know if a good transmission shop in the Orange County area? 2018 Silverado 1/2 ton needs a trans rebuild. Jasper rebuilt replacement is north of 6K. Was hoping someone can rebuild with better aftermarket parts and save some $$. Thanks

Don't have a referral for you, but the trans in my 2018 Silverado 1/2 ton just went out at 86,000 miles.. Luckily I purchased the extended warranty. Close to $8K. No out of pocket for me. Good luck.

Not Orange County but I would use Inglewood Transmissions. They used to be in Fullerton but moved to Longbeach about a year ago.

Yes sadly he did. He did however work along with the new owners even after he sold for some time. There new shop is in a kinda ghetto area but big place and they seem to be pumping out lots of work.

Art died about 6 months ago but the shop is still running, they're a couple of blocks away. They've done a half dozen or so automatic transmissions for me over the years and have all been bulletproof.

I have had several built by Art when he was in Fountain Valley. Many moons ago.

Bought Art's transmissions for both the super stock car and comp dragster in the 80's.
Great person, bulletproof products and always was there for tech questions and advice.

Not OC, but Remac Transmissions would be mine and Brian's recommendation, next to the old Rex Marine. He did my whole group of friends hot rod stuff, I think he did Brian's Tahoe as well, and I know he does fleet and everything in between.
