Dave Roberts seems like a good guy and a knowledgeable baseball guy but really...Justin Turner is on 2nd base, no one out and he calls for a sacrifice bunt by Kike Hernandez (you'll remember him - he hit 3 HRs in one game). That was a BS call.

And his management of the pitchers really is questionable. But I guess if they were winning no one would criticize him.

I will say the umpire tonight really, really sucked.

Go Dodgers.

I know the world series always has the 2 best teams in baseball (on paper that is) on the field, but I have to say this year it truly is the 2 best teams in baseball, no doubt about it.

This game will go down as one of the best action packed World Series Games I've ever seen. From the very first pitch this game kept you tuned in and on the edge of your seat till the very end...

The home runs are exciting but I?d like to see some small ball. Some strategy.

Couldn't ask for a more entertaining game that was bllled as a duel between starters.......Keuchel started the year 9-0, had a stint on the DL, came back pitching like he did tonight, got good again, and then tonight, BNAG.

Kershaw, just wasn't on.

Both bullpens are overworked and it caught up with both managers.

To me, so many of these pitchers rely on curves and sliders just out of the zone, the batters get the feel and know when to sit on a fastball or a hanging mistake.

Going to be interesting to see if Verlander and Hill can go into late innings and which teams bats stay hot. Great series.....:thumbsup

I think I agree more with Vic........I like the move to get JT over to 3rd. Take a shot to get that lead and your closer to try and hold them. Now if it was JT at bat with a runner on 2nd....I say swing away...he's your guy to drive the ball with a base hit to score the run. We need to manufacture some early inning runs. Can't all be about big hits imo. Clearly 3 run leads in this series ain't a safe spot.

I do agree we've seen less manufactured runs in this series. However game 5 was won with some strategy in the Houston 10th. Hit batsman, walk, pinch runner at second, game winning base hit to shallow left field scores pinch runner from second.

Seriously! Some of the strike calls have been freaking horrible! These umpires definitely need their eyes checked
I agree lots of terrible calls behind the plate and there inconsistency. There is nothing worse than watching a hitter take a called third strike then bitch about the call. If a pitch is near the strike zone you don't take it you swing at it to put the ball in play. A lot of base hits in last nights game were pitches out of the strike zone and several home runs as well.

One thing I'd like to see in in the world series is to replace the old geezers behind the plate with a younger home plate umpire. The younger ump will have better eye sight, better reaction time and be more consistent with there calls...

Just my opinion, but the Dodgers reluctance to sent runners home, 1 on a sac fly to right, helped lose the game. Small ball is great, but you have to take chances on the bases to.

The way the offense was pounding pitching takes small ball out of the game.

The runner was told to go home by the 3rd base coach. The noise level coming out of the stands was so loud the runner thought the coach was yelling no, no,no. In the replay the third base coach confirmed he said Go and they both agreed he probably would have been out at the plate anyways...

Very true. I'd say the only thing i like about the Houston games is you can actually hear the ump call a ball outside or a ball low. At dodgers stadium its like the ump is a deaf mute. You can't hear shit.

I think I turned the channel around the 7th...when they went up to 11....I just could not friggen handle watching that roller coaster....watched something else and as soon as that show was done the channel clicked back to game...12/12...I am never going to get to bed.

Should not sent Kershaw out in the 4th; should not have had Keke bunt...

Well my fellow Dodger fans, emotions were a little high last night things got a little out of hand and I'm sorry for some of the things that I said, hope you all can forgive me. That said I don't know if they should have left Kershaw in he did give up 4 runs in the 4th after a great 3 innings, the sacrifice bunt was a bad decision, and Morrow was already in his own head before he took the mound, he had never pitched 3 games in a row until last night. Tomorrow is a new game I know the Dodgers can pull it together and take this series. Go Dodgers.

The analogy of two heavy weight going at it is spot on. Both great teams with very few weak spots. If the Dodgers can win two in a row they truly deserve to be WORLD CHAMPS!!!!!

When it comes to Home Field Advantage, this is the way the serious should technically be going back to Los Angeles. It's the way the Houston/NY series played out.

Per Harold Reynolds Morrow has pitched in every playoff game but one. His fastball velocity has dropped about 2 mph on average. Guy is tired.

If you really don't want him, we'll gladly trade him even up for Ken Giles......Whatdaya say?;)

From what I've observed, Roberts has worn his pen out.

Well LADs you have had fun this year but your lights will be punched out by a very good closer next game.

CK is one of the best regular season pitchers in MLB history. He just isn't the guy to do it in the post season. Now, if you had Bum you would have gotten a WS ring but he doesn't pitch for you....lol

Next game you get to see the real post season deal.

Adios LADs......Please turn off the lights as you leave the stadium in game 6 :)

Already hatin? Go ahead and taboo them Astros Tom....lol

Closer? You talkin bout Verlander? Don't forget who we beat in game 2...yes Verlander.......oh....and we beat Keuchel twice. We're coming home son. Kershaw did well enough to give his team a shot to win. Oh...and way to let your team down this season Bumgarner, by being a dumbass who ran out of talent on an atv....lol....Giants troubles started with him missing from the rotation. :D

You beat their two best pitchers and your still down 3-2...hmmmmmm

I expect a classic from Verlander.

You are right about the Giants and Bum.

One thing the LADs have going for them tonight is the ball probably won't carry as it has been. However, that may be all the difference Verlander needs to finish it off. Who would you bet on going deeper into the game and avoiding using the bullpens? You know the answer.

Hey....I feel for you and Shintoooo but I can't see the LADs finishing this off and becoming champs.

I am not going. I gave my ticket to my business partner who has been a season ticket holder for 25 years + and it was his birthday yesterday as well, so he is going to take his daughter.

I would rather watch it at home with my wife and kids. :)
