Did you take it out in the water a few times before the open bow was cut in? If so, let us know how you like the handling of the extra weight in the bow, did it scrub any speed, bow rise, etc... once you run it with the open bow. I've noticed they handle better with the weight. Please advise!
I’ll definitely post about it. I took it out a couple weekends prior but didn’t run it too hard overall. Had my kid with me and no lifelines yet and I’m in no hurry to go fast I’ve been fast before so I’m taking my time getting to know the boat and being easy on the motor and drive while I see if anything feels off. I’ll be in havasu this weekend though and will report back on if it feels different for sure though.

Right on! Give us that update! My Son in law & daughter have the same hull (twin step) with closed bow, we both have about same horsepower, their bow rise is more and planning time is delayed compared to mine and I usually get the hole shot. Also I'm running 30 and they are running a 28 prop
Your interior looks great on both boats!

Ran the boat all weekend. I can’t say for sure about getting on plane because it has and still does do it effortlessly but it ran great with the open bow. A lot of people said it would make it handle bad and scrub a bunch of speed but w were loaded with 6 people and full tanks all weekend (most I had before was 4 people) and i didn’t notice a drop in speed vs rpm or anything negative. It performed great all the way around. Didn’t effect the ability to cut through rough water or hurt acceleration anywhere that I could feel. I did push the boat harder in turns (slow and higher speeds) and it handled fantastic. So far I love it. Everyone was fighting over who could ride in front all weekend.

That's great! I like the extra weight in the front. I think it helps in the handling and chop to cut through!?! I don't notice it scrubbing speed with comparable 25' Daytona's/HP with a solid deck either. Congratulations! Thanks for the update!!
