Hey Gig!!!

Bonnie is doing great. I see her about everyday still. She is back east visiting family right now. She is married to an LAPD officer, they live in OC, and have two little boys. Her husband doesn't like water, so I haven't been able to get them out to the river.

Jas.
Very cool to hear and to hear it from you. Please tell her "HI!" for me the next time you see her. She has a special place in my OP6C heart as she was the first OP6Cer I met face-to-face (she was the "unlucky" one to answer the door at RD's 2001 Christmas party #1). :thumbsup

Wassup Jason? Hope you and the family are doin' well. You guys and the Disco's still head out to Needles?

Oh; and is OP6C ever gonna be up and runnin' again or is it a dead issue? And do I still get to be the "Grand Marshall" (or was it "Grand Poobah"?) even though I haven't been in a boat since '05? :p

I gotta agree with ya this one time Hustler (speakin' of the dead). That's the most he's said since I've known him. Well; the most coherent. :p

HAHA! I'll pass along your "HI!" when I see her next week!

I'm doing very well Mike, thank you!!! Family is doing good too. The kids are getting bigger by the day. It's put a serious pinch on our social life, but they will only be young for a short time, so we're enjoying it. We still head out to Needles every chance we get, which wasn't a whole lot this year. I sold my trailer to Waterndog who boats about as much as you do. ;) Now we either stay with BoaterBill, or in Laughlin. Casino's don't cost us anything these days, or least they let us pay for the room through the poker and slot machines! :champagne: Disco has his boat and a trailer in Needles still and boats more than you but probably less than me these days. Almost all of our trips are family trips, where we kick it on a beach down near the Gorge, or lost in a deep cove on Lake Mohave somewhere. We haven't been to Parker in a couple of years but would like to do an adult trip there soon.

OP6C.com is closed, and your duties at Grand Marshal have ended. Go in peace. It was a great run, and we all made some friends for life through those parties. It's great to see a lot of the old names on this thread. If RDP has something like an OP6, Connie and I will make every effort to get out there for it.

Jas. :D

A few things made us move, here is a list for your viewing:

Ca starting to go down hill fast (Taxes going up!!) BTW they wanted to tax me on making money on selling my home!!

Car ins. is 1/3 the cost

Home taxes .49%

Boat ins. 1/2 the cost as CA

Everyone here are nice and not A-holes

Sold my home for full price and paid cash here for a great hgome on the lake. (And will have a 45' x 30' garage for boat and toys, with 3 car on the front of the house)

And one last thing not working any more :thumbsup

Wow! LOL! What was that...2002? I see Pyramid and Castaic. Gig's boat even made it out.

Mark, Cydney, Shantelle, Disco, and some ex-basketball player taking the pics ;)

Somewhere between 2000-2002, Goodtimes Marcel :D

Hell yeah! February trip in the Keys. I woke up at 4 or 5 AM, fell out of bed, crawled to the bathroom, and puked my brains out. Only to crawl back into bed where I found out my date either spilled a drink or pissed herself. I didn't care...that Canadian whiskey from a plastic bottle disintegrated every ounce of my soul! :)

Trouble at the river! I believe that is how it all started.

6 coolers of beer, and 6 guys were going to fix the problems at the river.

Wes, named it op6c, operation six coolers.

It was the longest thread ever on Hot Boat. <<<----- can we say that here?

Marcel had a monkey, hustler had the best damn pinwheels, H4215 Terry had the best bouncer for a party, botnam couldn't start a boat and slept at the dam.......and we all partied at Daves for a long time. Good time's forsure. I remember the floats would almost span Parker at 3am.

Yep, as Mark said we had a lot of fun back then.

Hope everybody is still doing good and enjoying the river.

Andy

I'll come...only five hours for me....well six if I go pick up JBB because you bribe the security with Krispy Kreme at front gate of Thatch Manor or whatever the name is of that nearly planned community that he resides at.

Maybe could grab Daytona572 too, but he's allergic to nitrous and sunlight, but I'll drink more and act extra crazy to make for those old asses.

Anyway...I hear Norman is a cool place.
