He says the damage to the drive is minimal.

Maybe on the exterior but that drive was pushed into the swim step I would be worried about internal damage.

I'd be willing to bet he has an issue with the drive leaking around the prop shaft after an impact like that

Yikes that looks like major damage to prop drive and swim step. Seems like a lot for a low speed impact but oh well gotta fix it now. Remind me of he time my friends took off in my truck(dad's jeep) w my trailer only to find out the couldn't make the turn. Jack knifed my trailer which put a giant hole in my dad's jeep bumper [emoji51] it was a long ride home. Dad was pissed so I smacked a giant active sticker over it to cover [emoji4]

He could of been going slow and forgot to let of the pedal once impact. Pushing into the poll.
