Onan CMQD 7500 questions

Is the only reason for the diesel generator because you have diesel fuel on board? Is it that hard to add a small tank for gas? Your fab guy does crazy work, this would be super easy for him.

I could pump the diesel out of the tanks and run gas in the same tanks. The reason for diesel is they are water cooled and a lot more robust in terms of longevity etc

Have your considered talking to those places that build and sell sign trucks, and see what they are using, etc

This truck will run 6’ish am to 11pm all day 20
Days a month. An air cooled generator isn’t gonna work.

A Honda will run 16 hours on 5gl

Iv been running my eu7000 for 120 hours straight with out ever turning off, running entire house only runs at 1/4 throttle 3.5 gl added every 12 hours
Onans a good gen set too, gas or diesel. Doesn’t really matter.
stop thinking about ways you can eventually make money with the perfect power, your currently losing money every day that truck is parked mind fucking it to death.

I bought the truck to hang some banners on it. It wasn’t until supercat when Big Dan hung a screen on it that we decided to go all in.. about a 12 month build and now we ran into some issues and I have been dealing with life.. I’m trying to get this bitch wrapped up though 100% so I can move onto other things like giving you advice on rv’s and spending your money on enclosed trailers.. lol

I don’t run bullshit.. same as you. lol. Jesus let’s talk about the ole vector and you coulda run it like this or it could sit for…. I’d rather have it first class. In short I’d rather own nothing than junk.

In retrospect I woulda just bought one.. lol. But this is custom and unique and I like it.

I hope the employees take care of it as well as I would have..

That 7.5 onan would work perfect for what you need, they are real quiet and hardly any smoke, I have had many onan Quiet Gen over the years from a 7.5 to 12.5k, you should get a easy 10000 hours out with proper maint
