Not THAT OLD, , although my now deceased best buddy used to regale me with stories of his numerous past lives, who knows eh ??Holy crap! How old are you?!
It's funny, I never noticed how the stars rotated in the sky as a kid...couldn't really see them like I can now. As I got older, became pretty good at navigation and even telling time, by the stars in the sky, their movement and the time of year. The concepts of a vast expanse, essentially locked in position, and something as massive as our rock spinning, slightly askew, in an oblong path around a star, is pretty mind bending.
Copernicus and then Galileo were probably thought of as madmen in their times as well
