While speaking with Ted Sutton yesterday he also mentioned the Original Venice crew Shelby Reunion. Not a lot of 'em left so this might be a big deal. If you happen to go inside the track find Ted. Ted is always engaging. If they won't let you in the gate tell them Ted is waiting for you.

btw. The Man with the most excellent tan is Rodney Allen Rippy. Rodney is into old cars.

Now that I think of it. I was there for the 50th anniversary of the Mustang and the 50th of the first Shelby gt-350r win and I don't recall anyone at the gate checking who was coming and going. I would just drive in like you own the place.

@Wheeler , do you know if the Mickey Thompson hauler Tom MacIntyre had ever got done up? I think it was the one for the "Mystery Motor" Corvette. Think it's been near 20 years, but was just sitting out in the parking lot

Years ago I drove up to the restricted access gate on the ramp at an airshow where the Blue Angels were appearing. Told 'em I was there as a guest of Command Master Chief Cook, and they waved me in.
