I talked to one of my brothers today for the first time in 7 years....today was a good day.

Long story short, Dog broke through his collar at 4:00pm on Friday. Searched until 1:30am, dark out couldn’t see anything. Slept until 5:00am went back out, got a tip from a local lady that she found a blood trail that’s wasn’t there day prior. Tracked the blood trail and found the lost dog at 4:30pm Saturday just before dusk. Small miracles exist fellas! Couldn’t be happier.

Found out I get to keep my job. It's been a year long process that has been hanging over our head. I can' describe how good it feels to be done with and move on to the next chapter. My wife and I have both been unemployed during our time together and are cherishing the stability it provides.

Also in the next chapter I get to have my boat rebuilt !

Nov 12th the wife and I celebrate 31 years of marriage. 4 kids who are all grown up and doing great so our nest is empty but our hearts are full. 1 Grandson he just turned 3 and has down syndrome but nothing slows him down and even though his speech is delayed he knows how to say "Faster Pappa".

Please don't take this wrong, but what's with all the spent shells and trash ? Is this in Havasu ? That's sad, reminds me of how many folks leave their trash on beaches.

New Covid Weenie pup in July has got more belly laughs out of my kids it has been great to watch. We also have a new lab puppy who will be ready to leave her mama after Thanksgiving.

Through all the bs over the past few months we're doing well. 3 grandkids ages 12, 6 and 4 months old. Celebrated our 35 anniversary last month as well.

No offense taken, completely agree on the trash. That's Berdoo Cyn in CA, and we always bring a trash bag with us and go home with more than we brought.

Berdoo Canyon --- sure, off Dillon Rd. In the mid 60's my buddy's parents had a place in Palm Desert, so we'd often ride our motorcycles up there and up the old jeep trail into Joshua Tree. Went up there with my truck several times in the mid 70's, one time by the time we got up into the park, it starting snowing. Not once during any of our numerous visits did we see another person or vehicle. Would seem that's no longer the case.
Sad what people think is OK and then later seemed amazed when the powers to be close areas. Good for you picking up after others, yet a sorry testament you need to.
