I know this has been talked about a million times but my search skills are limited..

Nitto Ridge Grapplers or BFG K03?

I have had good luck with the ridge Grapplers 0n my duramax. But am trying to be sold on the K03's for my f-150.

Price is within $25 or so for the set so that is no issue.

Getting them tomorrow so just wondering some peoples thoughts.

I've never run Nittos so I can't speculate or offer any advice. I've been a BFG guy for decades because I stick with what works for me. I currently run K03's on my new Bronco and Km3's on my race Bronco and my RAM 2500.

I have the Ko3’s on my 1500 duramax, approximately 20,000 miles on them, they are wearing very well, mostly highway miles between Flagstaff and Havasu with occasional towing. They are extremely noisy, I rotate religiously, and can’t wait to replace them with something else. They sound like old bias ply mud terrains that never got rotated.

I've run grapplers on my 04 duramax for the last 150k miles. Good tracktion, wear and pretty quiet. All road/highway miles, nothing off road.

I’ve never run the ridge grappler
I’ve heard good reviews of Terra tires but hated the Terra Grapplers on the street.
Granted it was a good 15-16 years ago.
On my 6 tire Ram, I bought 7😉
Lots of sidewall flex, scary at highway speeds in a swerve to avoid something. Oh shit! Oh Shit!!! Scary.

Off road they kicked ass👍

I’m happy with my BFGs

Edit.
I still have the spare tire out behind the shed, 0 miles 😂

I got half the miles out of BFG's, than I do with the Toyo's.

I run the ridge grapplers on my F250 and the Terra grapplers on my Ranger. Super impressed with both.

For highway use, I'm a fan of the Hankooks.

I'm on my second set of KO3's on my 150. Got over 50 k last set and happy with the current ones. Run smooth on road and as long as you rotate, best tire I have had.

Been a huge fan of the BFG T/A All Terrains since the "80's. Had them on 2 K5's, a full size Bronco and a slew of 1/2 ton pickups. Never let me down in snow and ice or mud and traveled well on the highway. Average lifespan was 45,000 mi with regular rotation. Fast forward to 2012 and my first 3500 PU. Couldn't get more than 30,000 mi on first two sets. On the 2016 3500 I only was able to get 30,000 mi before I gave up trying. Went through a set of Michelins and just recently, on a recommendation, put on a set of Falkens. So far, so good, but they've only been on about 4 months so time will tell.

Went with the 10ply E rated Ridge Grapplers. And the service package from discount tire. So if for any reason they get damaged they will be replaced for 10yrs or down to 3/32 tread depth. We'll see as this is the first time I have used anyone for tires besides Les Schwab🤷🏻‍♂️

I think about 2014/15 is when BFG took their mileage warranty off and everyone was burning thru them. they have since added it back in the last couple years but I'm still not sold on them yet.

I couldnt get the Nittos to balance. My last set of tires were Falken Wildpeak R/T 37's . They have been awesome!

I was looking at those the other day. How quiet are they? Mileage good?

The price on all of these tires is insanity. I get tired of the noise of the cheap mud tires that I only get about 20K out of, but fack I can buy (2) sets with money left over for what these other things cost. If I can't get 40-50k out of them, its not worth it, and they look cooler!

I have 40,899 miles on them and I can see myself getting another 20k on these. Road noise is minimal, but as they wear, they do get a little bit more noise out of them compared to new. With the 37’s, use the balancing beads. It’s a game changer. I also rotate tires every 5k miles (oil change interval)

Now you're talking my language! I'm 37's on 22s. Its on a dually, so the rotation deal is a bit harder, but for 50K miles I'd deal with it. Do you have a pic of the truck? Just curious if they still give that "aggressive" look.
