$43 to go about a mile
Are you kidding me
So fuck it decided just to walk instead
Then a limo pulled up so $10 later I was home

From the airport back to my house used to like $12.00 for Uber, last time I checked it was $90.00

Waited for an old fashioned taxi and paid the $50 happily. Sheesh.

I think it depends on time of day or how busy it is. I think if you wait 5 minutes and search again it might change

My kid had to uber from Tempe Campus to Mesa campus a few times and it would double during rush hour on a week day.
