Official unofficial traning day for newbies..

Thanks RD, Friday AM it is. FYI, the SCSC circle races are Friday & Saturday. Last I checked, Dave Chandler was running PS 855 so he may be out.

I thought of that.. I figured we'd do our skiing thing, and then i was gonna go check out the races.

I'll be in So Cal over Thanksgiving Break - and be bringing the boat with me unless the rain is pretty bad. Was planning on making a run on a ski to Catalina on Friday following Thanksgiving. I really want to do that race and need to start getting the training in. If there is another who wants to double up with me to get the training time in on a ski - let me know. I'm a 60-70 mph at Parker, which puts me at 40 mph to Catalina??? (let me get out there and get comfortable and we'll see what I can hold - but definately a newer skier who has much growing to do.)

Let me know if you guys are planning on meeting up on Saturday and I'll see if I can swing down. I'll be based out of Rancho Cucamonga @ my brother's place for the holidays.

I'm totally on board with the training weekends and don't mind traveling down from Nor Cal, though will want to double up on the training days since coming into town from up north. Sean

Are you planning on running your 21 to Catalina?

Hi RD - Will be running the Cyclone twin rig to Catalina. More room in the boat and galvanized trailer, so thinking a better salt water boat. Both Schiada's (21' and 20') will be up and rolling for next season. Likely running the 21' on the marathon circuit, the 20' on the circle circuit (hopefully we put one of those together from this Saturday's meeting). The 21' is in at Islander Marine getting a bunch of work done on her. Motor is with Carson getting built up. Guess I should kick out some photos and post in the Schiada section. Point being, boats are available to ski behind... Sean
