one way??/ so 130 mile trip? I know you can fuel up at cottonwood,,my coach toon holds 60 gals, and sues toon holds 45...but a lot of the ones I looked at only hold 25... for a 130 mile trip you'd need 65 gals @ 2 mpg....on sues toon..running 30 mph... it uses 8.4 GPH....this data was collected professionally by the 2FF investigative "proper toon prop and motor height " or PTPMH study AKA, toon props and facts...So, with out wind and ruff sea factor.. we'll say 3mpg.. so about 43 gal estimate....with a 25 gal fuel capacity it would be smart to stop at cotton wood both up and back...again not proven as factual , but a 25 gal tank @ 3mpg is at best gonna net 75 miles of travel...

Correct. All said and done it’s usually a 130-40 mile trip. I’ve done it on my toon a couple times. I’ve got 35gal on board. One year I brought 2 cans with me and got back to Katherine’s on fumes. Like I was really beginning to worry. The next year I topped off at Willow Beach on the way back down. Cottonwood has traditionally had an OUI checkpoint set up on the run weekends. Got pulled into that once, so now if I need fuel I get it at Willow.
All that with a 4 blade prop...

Great run, we put in sandwiches order on friday night (cooler wrapped) and pick up 7am Sat morning. Gas and roll.

Offered he could co pilot and as deckboat has wheel chair access , he can't get his cast wet yet and it's the getting in and out on the docks is a pain and problem. Guess we'd need a winch to raise and lower him?

I may actually have no passengers won’t know until hopefully Thursday at the latest. Not a pontoon or deck either, just putting it out there if no other option. I’ll post once I know.
