We bought all three campsites on the beach so that place is ours.

Highlight so far - New Dingy OB 9.8 HP with electric start and a 6 AM alt so we can go fish at night. Goat harbor is protected no take so we have to motor out to fish.

We will let the kids swim in the caves. ALways a fun highlight.

So to start...I put the new OB on today and we ran around HH to put a couple hours in. I will download a bunch of pics when we get back. No service at Goat for ATT folks.

Electric start must be night and day difference

Bust out the spot lights at night and cruise the dingy just outside the harbor and a good chance the flying fish will appear.
They are all around the island.

My wife really did appreciate it. Easy. Also at night when I or one of the other partners are heading back to the boat off the beach (someone always sleeps in the boat) in the 2' surf its a faster launch. Nothing worse then getting a shove off and not getting the OB motor started in time.

Quite a few. With the transom light on they would let the boys touch them. Flying fish are super curious.

Uploading a few pics.

So cool! Thanks for posting your pics. I was planning on heading to the Island for the 4th weekend with my dad on his boat but not all of the family could make it. So I'm heading to Havasu with a couple buddies instead. Maybe Labor Day weekend!

OCMerril, you had a ton of people and camping gear on your boat. It must have taken at least two hours to unload. We were on the Searay anchored just West of you.

Small world. The folks on the beach wanted to stay and that slowed things down a bit spending 1/2 hour to ease them off.

Day folks are limited to mean high tide as the limit line. We did not care if they stayed or not but they were right in the middle of what we needed to do. $300 to get all three campsites for 2 nights. We had to take all three because you are only allowed 4 people per site.

14 people. 8 kids.
