What strikes me as really scary is that it seems (to an uneducated person such as myself) that there's only a few dudes deciding if the fighter jet / swap deal with Poland is a go or not.
To me, that really seems to be a potential point of catalyst to sending things out of control.

I've felt we are overdue for some time. It is one reason we sold almost everything and live full time in our RV now.

I suspect that many people in the world will suffer because of the choices and policies of elites. We here in the U.S. no matter how bad things get will have it better than the vast majority we share the planet with. History offers us lessons, but we somehow fail to learn. When leaders start getting assassinated shit is getting bad.

My FIL who is a pain in my ass, once told me "They Can't Eat You" It's a reminder that we are near the top of the food chain. Things could be far worse, no matter how bad it gets. Things we take for granted, like clean water, flushing toilets, light switches, and refrigeration would bring joy to some people in the world, yet we feel entitled to them.

I've gotten fat and lazy sitting behind a keyboard all day, but I still have trade skills that allow me to build a shelter if things really go bad. Maybe I need to drink a little less, eat a few salads and start walking? The high gas prices will force me to think twice about driving, plan trips and look for activities that can bring me joy and maybe even better mental health if I stop coveting material shit.

I see an opportunity for strong people when the snow globe gets shaken. For some that opportunity might simply be spending more time with loved ones and being grateful for the things we have.

Or I can say fawk all that buy as much shit on credit as humanly possible, find some decent drugs and booze and squeeze every last drop out of this life before the whole damn thing goes to shit. Are there any Quaaludes left on the planet? I've got some Iraqi Dinar in the safe I need to burn.

Shit will hit the fan after the midterms. Most people will be sick of failed liberal policies, inflation, open borders, etc... and R's will sweep the midterms. The vocal radical left minority will violently protest. Police will have their hands tied due to budget cuts, useless DA's, and regulations that say they cannot stop the "peaceful" protests. Citizens will begin taking protection into their own hands in order to defend their families and property. The mainstream media will spin it as violent white supremacists attacking peaceful protestors, which will further inflame the violent left. The federal govt will intervene to keep the peace and it will be a downward spiral after that...
