So, I have as of tomorrow Verizon 5g for Internet at both houses. $25 in OC, $35 LHC (monthly)

I plan on getting tomorrow the “landline” from Verizon tomorrow for both. $20 each (monthly)

I have had Verizon Internet in the OC for almost two years. Not one single problem.

Sooo TV service. I’m not into streaming, hula, YouTube, the only thing the wifey wants is the ability to watch the Game Show Network.

Dish ? Direct TV ? Other options?

My thought is to get let’s say Direct. One service two dishes and move the box back and forth.

Possible ? Other suggestions?

***I need the landline at both locations, I need the Internet at both locations. Trying to cut the costs of Optimum in LHC, and Cox in the OC eliminating the Internet and landline sky rockets the cost of basic cable. Sooo stupid.

As far as I know, you can't do the two satellites at each house and one box that you move back and forth anymore. You can have one Directv streaming account that you log into at both houses.

Make sure you have unlimited data on your cell phone, go to;

thetvapp.to

stream whatever you want and cast it to your tv's

This is like the magic box, without the magic box.

Look into sling tv app. I go between Phx and so cal often works great for me has channels I watch and only about 45 per month.

Plus my daughter uses one log in at school and brother in law uses the other.

A $20 Roku or Amazon Firestick makes streaming the DirecTV app simple, plus they have all kinds of free TV apps already loaded. Take either of these streaming devices with you on vacation and watch all your dvr shows as well as live tv from anywhere with internet.
I know someone with YouTube TV & they like it as well.
Times have changed.

We have Directv Stream with the boxes, we pay $5 a month for the boxes and just have one out in Havasu. One account for both houses, essentially Havasu is $5 for the box on the main TV and we run the rest off of Firestick's. We have been happy with the service. Channels and recorded are all the same.

You need to find a crooked direct TV installer. I use to have one

Directv stream for us. We use it everywhere.
Same. Just can't have more than 3 streams going away from your "home" base Directv account.

I like watching the Padre games and DTV is one of the few services you can watch so that's the route I took. It's like $100/mo so a little more than the Youtube and Hulu "live" TV accounts. No dish needed anymore, it's just like all the other streaming accounts.

Roku is cheap and really easy. All the apps are on there. You can even control them from your phone. I have 6 Roku tv’s and one Sony on Google. The Rokus are an easier platform.

Roku is easy and I have them on all my tvs. Problem is the streaming apps are out of control with pricing now
