Lol. Same thing I thought. Tow mirrors definitely don’t need to be out towing an empty trailerFold your mirrors in.......
But it's a DodgeLol. Same thing I thought. Tow mirrors definitely don’t need to be out towing an empty trailer
This was my first thought as well. It's missing an axle.
Nope mine is still there “CURING” this one came out of Ponchos a while before yours. JT picked it up and will be seeing it through to completion. Mine will be similar in colors but with multiple pins versus fades.Alright, enough with the suspense…what’s the back story here? Is this the hull that @jstnoc dropped off at Menace Marine/Pancho Glass Magic when I picked mine up?
Now I remember, it was at Mike Kings in Havasu for a full rig. Looks like he got the strut mounted anyway. @RiverDave caught some pics of it in the write up below.Nope mine is still there “CURING” this one came out of Ponchos a while before yours. I agree on the water pump. I am dealing with one on my flat right now and it's a hassle.Holy cow! Making some solid progress and looking good!
Tell me more about that distributor and crank ring set up you've got going there.
Also, I think the belt driven water pump is a good idea. If I was to do mine over again I would dump the cam driven pump.
I like pump low to keep wet/primed for longer impeller life. Also no chance of water leakage into motor front coverWhat woes are you all having with the cam driven water pumps. I run a 1 inch magnaflow and never had an issue other than lower blower pulley clearance.
All that makes sense however I will say I've lost 10 times as many belt driven seawater pump (alum/brass/plastic housings) impellers versus magnaflow impellers in my 4 decades of boating. Dont kno why. I've had quite a few Merc/Quicksilver impellers fail prematurely and even spin on the center hub. Well I guess the first 10 years doesn't count because it was all jet boat shit.I like pump low to keep wet/primed for longer impeller life. Also no chance of water leakage into motor front cover
Out of curiosity and I want to do same how many axle et's are you using? I want to use came but never weighed boat prior to dismantling it lolMore progress today
This will be a triple axle setup. They are 2000lb half axles. Decided to go with the 2000lb on this build after doing 3500lb half axles on that triple axle 22ft Vaughn trailer. That trailer suspension was rock solid lolOut of curiosity and I want to do same how many axle et's are you using? I want to use came but never weighed boat prior to dismantling it lol
I see they are 2k lbs a pair
