The first episode was on May 19th and come out every Sunday. I know they run them on repeat, so you can still catch the ones that have already aired. I could be wrong, but I think the last series type thing that they did like this was Planet Earth. Loved that too, but I think this is better.

Put together very well. 2 shows on the DVR and they are permanently saved.

I like this stuff too. A couple years ago there was a series, I think it was on HDNET and it was called "EYE OVER"""
Filmed with the best HD cameras out of helicopters, they flew over British Columbia, The Alps, America, England, etc.
That was some awesome stuff. If I ever find it on BluRay I will buy it.

I love this stuff too! I set to record series. Tonight is on shark migration. I've been following this as there are baby great white sightings all the time in so cal. One was even caught off the Santa Monica pier.

Haven't watched it yet, but have the DVR set to record.

I was hooked as soon as I saw the promo commercials for this series...they actually won an industry award for them :thumbsup

I'd like to know how the hell they get some of this footage ? multiple cameras's, multiple camera angles etc., I just can't see 4,5,6 or more guy's lying in wait to capture some of these scenes.?

I know... some of the shots blow me away. Last night's episode had several shots of a bird flying, taken from a camera that appeared as though it must have been flying alongside the bird at the same time? I would love to know how they do some of that stuff. I watched a clip on the Discovery website where they showed how they got the underwater shots for the diving bears with a robot. Pretty amazing stuff....

Next week's episode is supposed to be about the desert. I can't wait for that one.
