Thane told me the price for the boat new.This boat has over 10 hours on it.I call it used boat price.You know what they say,you loose 30% when you drive away.....LOL

All kidding aside,One bad ass boat.You guys did you're homework and it paid off.Now get that bigger wheel on there and let's see what she will do.

I have been checking back on this thread thinking I would come up with something really cool to say....Still got nothing. I plan on coming down sometime in Jan to run mine a bit hope to stop by and see it in person before it gets shipped off.

Small detail but I like where you all put the subs, that worked really really well in my SS.

That is dam impressive. I was fortunate enough to take a ride in Howard Arneson's 32' Skater in 1990 in the Delta. Same boat he used for this (http://www.howardarneson.com/articles/fireonmiss.asp).

Howard only had one helmet / goggle setup and gave it to my wife who sat in the front seat, he told me and my bro in law to take our sunglasses off because they would be blown off. I sat in one of the rear seats next to the intake for the turbine. 140MPH was reached with ease, IIRC, we hit 152 MPH but it's been so long I don't recall if that was via a mechanical gauge or? I took a couple things away from that ride, Arneson had a bad ass boat, and the cat handled huge wakes no problem at moderate speeds and 150MPH air hitting your face lifts your eyelids off you eyes and should not be experienced without goggles. The intake for the turbine was sucking so hard and or the air hitting my chest made it really hard to breath at 150+MPH.


Hard to imagine that speed is eclipsed with a piston engine with a warranty.

They have been slammed with orders, so I'm not sure if they have run the boat again or not. I am going by there tomorrow so I will find out!
