I'm not buying it.

But I'm getting more resentful every day about the shit the left and the black racists are spewing.

I'm being called a white supremacist, I grew up with white privilege, etc., etc.

All my life I've been a fair person. I've never treated anyone different from the way I want to be treated. There are tens of millions of people that feel the way I do. There isn't widespread racism in this country.

Meanwhile 530 people have been murdered in Chicago since January 1st. I don't buy that crap that the government has failed the people.

Wife and I ate at ROC?s on Friday and got to talk with Roland. His morals and ethics would not let him act any other way and I support his views. No NFL will no doubt affect the business but I will be eating there and looking for him every time to shake his hand. Kudos to his loyal employees too. All are united in their support, even in the face of economic hardship. Standing for the Anthem isn?t too much to ask in return for the freedoms and opportunities this country has given its people nor for the lives lost protecting those rights.

OK, we are in Cali a lot for business and visiting family. Where is Roc's place...if anywhere near the drive or travel plans we want to support his stance and business...

Well Cole, I guess the difference between those "friends" and I is that on the rare occassion I'm present for the National Anthem at a sporting event (Usually baseball), I find a place to view the flag, take my hat off, and hold my hand over my heart. Doesn't matter if I have to step outta line, or hold a piss for a few minutes. We all make our choice in how to support our country, that is just one small way I chose to do it. I'm not the only one doing the exact same thing everytime I find myself out of my seat for the opening of the game as evident by those standing right next to me:thumbsup

We all make our choices.

Correct and I choose to make the flag and anthem a priority as well.

I guess all is well... the country is a fair place everyone starts off with an equal chance at succeeding and there is no racism in the USA.

The country is a fair place in the fact we all get a fair chance to succeed, even if some get a head start and others have to do it all themselves. ;)

There is racism because we keep talking about it. Peeps on both sides are to blame.

We left there around 2:30, and it was filling up fast with LEO?s. They went there after the memorial service this morning for officers Vega and Zerebny That were killed last year.
