Chabones has a special menu for V-day. Pretty much only seafood. Just a heads up. Not my thing unless I'm at the beach. I wanted a filet, so we went elsewhere. But I'm sure many appreciate it and go specifically for the special event menu.

FWIW - Some of the finest seafood in the western US is in Las Vegas. Not exactly on the coast. But, very little seafood today is actually fresh, never frozen and locally caught.

Costco has some nice thin cut ribeyes - they don’t over load you like a slab - 2inch thick ribeye !
Get some shrimp, a wedge salad bottle of Justin red ….

Agree 100%! Vegas Sushi is some of the best in the country. For any seafood, it’s about how much they go through and not location. The amount of fresh caught, local seafood in a Newport Beach restaurant is next to nothing.
