Took my son out for his first time at the drags, I wish videos worked because his reactions were great first pic is the smile he had when we ran up to a funny car fired up in the pits. Took him to the fence for Pro Stock then we went up to my buddies suite for Top Fuel. The first time he heard the first run I think he jumped 6”s. Then my buddy took us in Scott Palmers pit where he got to see the start from inside. After that stopped by for Tony’s autograph before he flew off to be a Dad.

I always take my kids out of school on the Friday qualifying day. I never tell them. We just surprise them. Pull them out at 10 and get to the track to watch the first rounds of the Pro classes.
