Hard to miss it!
Hope no additional problems.
Please take plenty of pictures.
I was thinking the same thing.Hope no additional problems.
Can’t wait to see this rig in person. Next level shit that most of us only can dream about. You can take all the pics in the world and they just don’t represent.
I stared at the purple inlays for like 15 minutes just mesmerized.
You can look at any part of this boat and the more you look the more it sinks in.
The simplistic perfection. Uncluttered is an understatement for the dash and interior.
3 big gauges per side. 4 sticks, that’s it. The display screens are subtle.
For those accustomed to this level of boat I’m sure it’s just another nice example, but when I study it I’m just floored.
What a stunning boat. Lottery dream build stuff for sure. And couldn’t belong to a nicer guy. Steve is a super cool guy to meet, and so is his son. Walked me and my old man around his badass Chevelle and took the time to answer all of our questions like we were old friends. Hope to see this boat (not bote) in person some day. Way out of my wheelhouse for sure.
Haven’t seen it in person, only the Chevelle. But everything the dude owns is SANO. Super badass dude with super badass toys.Steve is as cool as they come. His low gear is 110% overdrive.
That Chevelle is a dream car in itself, but have you seen the 68’ stingray?
I call it his “hot wheels glitter car”.
At first you look at if and start thinking “did he pin a 68’ to a C7 chassis with a big LS motor?”....
Then you realize no, he built a 68 into a C7 with a big LS motor..
Glad to see your back posting. Boat looks great!!Thanks for all the positive comments guys!
Dropped it yesterday, quick trip over and back. 8.5 hours round trip, including lunch at Chili’s.
AJ and I are shooting for me to pick it up the 30th. I am planning on Monster Storm!!
You should have your Viper painted to match the boat.On another note, if you see the boat behind a black F450, it’s still me.
Replacing the Sport Chassis. sucks, but a family decision based on how difficult (and dangerous) it is to get Brian’s ass up in that beast.
Got the Nee truck Friday, May or may not drive it over for MS.
not sure about air bags. Hooked the boat to it, only sags 2” but didn’t drive it around. My drawbar was only rated at 13k, need 20k.
I was looking at the small line of boats on Industrial waiting to get into Windsor.
Nice boats.
Twin screw cats, nice eliminators, etc.
Then that wall of art rolls by and it’s like “God damn”...
Whole different league.
This is the important number. All three have tow ratings exceeding 30k. Problem is, the fine print telling you above a certain number, it needs to be a gooseneck or 5th wheel. You should have your Viper painted to match the boat.
BTW, what is the max tow capacity of the F450? buddy is thinking to get a Sport Chassie or F450 to tow our race car trailer
My friend owns Radical West, pulling a stacker with Sport Chassis, and pulling a gooseneck trailer with F-450.
I love the Sport Chassis best
Is there a certain year better than others? There's a nice silver one for sale as low as 70K cdn locally.mine is for sale.

Viper?
How did your bike ride go? I hope well.
Next day IIRC, we did Fleecer ridge, an absolute monstrosity of a climb then an unridable descent. I’m trying to load a couple videos.
that day ended in Butte I think? I crashed on a set of single track switchbacks going into town. After Butte, it’s 300 miles to the next bike shop on route, so we decided on a tune-up, re-supply then onward.
My bike was in good shape, my race partner was having significant brake issues. Got those fixed, hit Safeway then left town. As we left, climbing began and never stopped. We were riding on an asphalt road with lots of potholes. I apparently had my head up my ass, hit a pothole and broke a spoke. I carry a Kevlar trail fix spoke, which I installed. With the amount of miles ahead of us, we figured I’d better go back and get it fixed rather than hit nearly 300 miles of wilderness.

That boat is off the charts gorgeous.
I’m not kidding when I say I watch the YouTube videos of it getting painted and after paint almost weekly. As stated before, all of the subtleties hidden in plain sight are just incredible.
What blows my mind is the size of the canvas to prep, mask, paint, clear, rub and buff. It’s a ton of work!
