I don't gamble.

What's that mean?

It is a $570 bet on the steelers
The point spread was -4.5
The steelers were favored by 4.5
But I "bought the hook" the .5
So instead of -110 it's -120
I have to lay out more $ at a lower point spread
But if the steelers had won by 4 I would have gotten my money back
So for every $120 I bet I got $100 back plus the $120

120/100=570/x
Cross multiply 120x=57000
x=475
Bet 570 won 475

Too bad it's not my tickey guy just sent me a tex
