. I respect Campell for sticking with the teams aggressive culture and going for it on 4th downs. He stayed consistent with what he’s done all season. Ballsy as hell when you are up 14 and in field goal range in the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP game. If he gets the 1st he’s a hero. If he kicks the 3 there to go up by 17 and Gibbs doesn’t lose that fumble it’s probably game over even with those costly 3rd down drops. Williams also dropped that deep ball in the end zone. It was a contested catch but the ball couldn’t have been thrown any better.

He was 0-2 on fourth downs. But I think Purdy won the game with his scrambles and clutch throws down the stretch more than the Lions blowing it. It was a fun game to watch. I’m a Lion fan the more I watch them. I like how the team carries themselves. Hard nosed football team that didn’t make excuses and isn’t afraid of the challenge. A lot of teams play soft or scared with the lead and it ends up costing them the game. Hats off to Dan Campell and the Detroit Lions. They have a bright future. Hopefully they can keep their OC and DC.

Food for thought. They beat the Chiefs week one this season… I don’t think it was a fluke. Fun to think about what a rematch would have looked like…

Interesting, very few here predicted the 9ers & Chiefs. Ravens? - We we were once berthed about 3,blocks from that Baltimore stadium for a year. Terrible neighborhood and messed up people. Yesterday, Ravens beat themselves in a few ways. Lions? - Crazy. First half they were running the ball very well. 3rd & 8, kept it on the ground and made it. 2nd half they passed and their passing game sucked. 49ers remained steady. Continued to do what they do best. I’m just glad F’n Joe Buck wasn’t commentating this weekend. It would have been - “This being the final playoff game of the season, it’s a must win for at least one of these teams”. “OK folks, with the 2 minute warning we have a time out. So, let’s take a look at the clock”. And he wasn’t talking about time outs remaining! WTF??!! Guy’s a very overpaid idiot.

McCaffrey is fun to watch. That late game fall he took, right onto his head and neck looked brutal. Not a big Taylor Swift fan. But, she does not sing about killing cops, pimps and ho’s. And she’s not one to be grabbing at her own crotch. I’m glad to see her doing very well. All the hype about her and Kelce . . . Leave em alone. They’re having a good time. And handling it well.
