This is what my wife and I disagree on all the time...she is always telling me to be quiet...I say he was in the NICU for 3.5 months and slept with noise and lights...he has a white noise machine...One he can't hear me and two if he can he's not waking up...he'll be fine...the one that sucks...he HATES the car...trips are a nightmare.
Wow. That's crazy. Most babies Love being in the car for some reason. Mine always slept the whole time!

When they got older, we had the Playstation and movies to keep em quiet, otherwise they would be tearing each other And my truck all apart!

But now, as someone else mentioned, it sucks waiting for em to come home late at night.

Having Kids us the most rewarding, and most terrifyingly thing you can do. All wrapped up in one package.

I'm gonna cry hard when they move out!!! [emoji12]

We have a 4 week old little man too, we have been lucky and he is doing pretty good we bought http://www.fisher-price.com/en_US/products/Newborn-Auto-Rock-n-Play-Sleeper ....and its worked wonders he sleeps well but only about 2-3hrs at a time which is normal for their age. have a good friend who was in your same situation and used a newborn sleep consultant and it work wonders, they build a plan for you around your routine and feeding and sleeping and it makes it alot easier to identify if there is a problem or get them into a nice routine.... he said it was the best 250 he has ever spent in his life. it gets hard when everyone is tired and you are just trying to get different things to stick.... I would look into this, since I have heard alot of good things from others too. best of luck too you!

I will jus a few things.

I have no experience with little ones. Thank god for that.
I got my step daughters at teenage years. Wait til they are teenagers. Changing diapers or dealing with changing attitudes ( hormones).
Either way I suck at this kid stuff. Why I never had them.

My mother must of made the house quiet , cause I can't keep with noise. I can see it now. My mother saying the prince is sleeping be quiet. Lol.

I hope you find the remedy that you will need to help your little one. Lots of good advice on here [emoji106][emoji41][emoji202]

So .. little update. Went to the doctor today with the little man. Dr. Didnt see anything wrong with him and just said he's a colicky baby. Only thing she recommended was less food but fed more often. We have been feeding 3oz of breast milk ever 2.5-3 hours. The doctor said knock it down to 2.5oz every 2 hours and see if it helps. I don't think he's gonna like this.

And that's why they "practice" medicine. Lol. If your gut says he won't be happy, he probably won't be.

Last night and today we're much better for my son. More frequent burping during feedings. Slowing feedings down by taking the bottle away and putting pacifier in his mouth for a minute or so. Gripe water, gas drops and supplementing 2 bottles a night with sensitive formula. Fingers crossed. He was in a calm mood so we snapped some photos with him today. Hopefully were on to something here!
