Newbie with alot to learn about RDP!

Lol I know.. that said I still try to he kind to the newbies.. and I’ve seen the boat in person a few times.

Did it ever occur to you that me offering to shoot the boat next week might be a good chance to take a look at it? (First in line)

24xs is on my short list and has been forever.

Besides this thread is something I’ve been thinking about for awhile. Are there people that try to take advantage? Sure.. is this guy one of em? Who knows.. probably.

but another question, a more important question..

If someone was a new member and this was the way they were greeted would they stick around?

This guy took it in stride and has humor.. I’d love to see him stick around. If it was a shorter game I’d just check the box and. I’ve that post to the classifieds for him.


Someone that restored a boat to that caliber and has another one in the works is more important to rdp than a little clever spam in the lounge. The comedians in the thread though.. maybe shouldn’t quit their day jobs.

lol there are a lot of hurt feelings in here for some very minimal RDP ribbing....I had to go back through the thread to see what the big deal was, and I dont really see anything serious...idk?

Seriously I thought we were being nice and there wasn't even a chick pic! I'm ALWAYS interested in stuff for sale so no issue here.

My apologies to anyone that was offended that I listed my boat shortly after my new internship into the RDP fraternity, I assure you it was not malicious. As I said in my original post, I've lurked on this website for several years now and thought it would not only be a great place to get to know a few good boating guys it might also be entertaining as well and yes a good outlet for my sale. I've owned probably 15 boats throughout my life and boating is a true passion of mine. So for anyone who's living in the basement of their Moms house with their 20 cats watching reruns of Miami Vice or Barney with a jar of Vaseline,, I didn't mean to intrude on "your" site. For all the true boating guys,,,I owe you a beer!

You are just supposed to place the for sale stuff in the classifieds not in the lounge..

People have been coming up with different ways of getting them in the lounge.. everything from what’s it worth, to other clever things..
