Pusher tires and wheels look nice. Those f'rs are expensive when they wear out though.

I am going to put new tires on it just because I do not want any tire problems. The tires have a date on them of 11/07. I will sell the old ones.

I found (sadly Chinese made) new 22.5s for my moho last year at $300 a piece, mounted (at the house) balanced, tax OTD. Best I could find and I looked for months.

I will have the front side windows tinted darker but still looking into tinting double pain windows. I have read you can have problems doing this. No sure but I thought I better check. Last week at the SEMA show they some really nice ceramic window tints that really block the heat.

Ceramic tint the best way to go on any car does not interfere with electronics: Bluetooth, sat radio, any car electronics etc. and keeps the heat out better than any other tint.

I just put that stuff on my Jetta, we even did the windshield! Looks reeeeeeel nice, and it DOES block the heat! But at night it is a bit hazy on the windshield. Since I hardly drive at night, prolly wont be a big deal.

Congrats. Thats a beautiful rig. :thumbsup

All is good. Haileigh is 16 and we got her a car for her b-day in June. Bought a new house about 3 mos ago here at home and just been getting settled into that. Boys just finished football season and really liked it so we will be sticking with that for a while it looks like. I miss Havasu.

I used RV Trader and searched a 400 mile circle. I bought it from a private party in Southern Cal.

You will keep busy with the football and keeping track of Haileigh. I spent so many years at the sports fields with our girls. Lots of fun!

I've gathered that if you don't get michelins you're gonna have tire issues either sooner or later.
I won't take the chance on my motorhome.

Boy you hit on a sensitive topic for me personally. If you are replacing tires.my recommendation is ANYTHING but Goodyear.

To set the tires correctly, you need to get a fully loaded weight on all four corners (not just front/rear). Then, find the tire manufacturer's load range/tire pressure settings.

My moho has the same 110 max and I run 85 in fronts and 95 in rears (diesel pusher). All the weight is in the back and duals develope heat so they need more air to handle the added weight/heat.

Make sure you weigh it with full tanks (black and grey included), fuel and water. Tool box, all closets etc. Throw a couple of bricks on the floor by the refer to simulate food in the fridge. You'll now have a base line for tires, suspensions etc.

This weekend out in Havasu after a nice dinner I will putting on a Rear Track Bar on the motorhome. I bought it from Henderson RV in Oregon. The 2007 Ford 22,000# chassis has one on the front from the factory. It is suppose to help keep the motorhome going staight down the road when windy. I will drive it out to Havasu with out and install it and drive it home with it installed.

I called the wife today and she was acting goofy. When I get home she said she took the new motorhome to Irvine from Huntington Beach. She had a good time and did not hurt it. She acted like a teenager who took dads vette out for a drive.
