Cruising up the 15 this afternoon…boat looked sweet and ready for some rigging.

Looks like a Next. Ultra in the JW days never had a mold like that.
Then again, Rusty would purchase molds on the idea of building boats and paying back the owner of the mold, so who knows who built it.
Domin8r has the mold now I believe.

I like the dual exit idea, though probably not something I’d use.

Read my mind. Definitely the "Next" hull and deck. Dominator had their name on em for a while too. 🤔

That’s what I thought…the seats in the back of the truck had Ultra embroidered on them…..may have been for a different boat.

Was it Rusty? He apparently has been a bit elusive lately.

I'm not sure domin8r is even still in business, their building was sold last month and all the signage is off the building

Those graphics are dated as hell. The punisher skull is a nice touch too😬

So just this year we’ve lost Ultra, Domin8r, and Wraith?

Ultra was lost years ago IMO.
Domin8r lease was not renewed.
Wraith, did they ever sell any to begin with
I know the guy who bought the building and it seemed like they weren't going to be back up.

I sure hope they stay alive, I really like that 22 deck they have and wouldn't mind having one built

That’s a fat hull. Looks like a new trailer. No plates

That would make sense on the new trailer if it was saleen because last time I drove by they had a few new extreme trailers out front.

Pretty sure that was originally an Eliminator design that they decided not to build. Next "acquired" the molds and Brent Leach started Next with it.
They made at least 5-6 of them before they were gone and then Dominator eventually acquired the molds. That gel scheme is very similar to many that Eliminator did in the mid 2000s.

I'm sure Shuman and Gelcoater know more of the details.

I know the boat looks funky but they are very functional and perform well. @Good Stuff has a Domn8er version and we boat together a lot. The back stairs are awesome for getting in and out or for sitting on while parked. Boat is super roomy inside, rides well, doesn't do anything out of the ordinary and will out perform similar boats in its class. His has, IMO, somewhat tame power and it cooks for a big deck boat, fully loaded. I wouldn't hesitate owning one.

The boat posted by the OP is a Caliber 1 version.

Was the other way around.
Brent and his brother started it, did all the tooling in Mexico.
Bob considered it for a time and decided not to.

Yep that’s the Caliber 1 version.

Pretty common for everyone to start loading up and have to retrieve a sleeping kid or two from my stairs. They are pretty much a playground for all our friends kids and they love it. 😂
