Domin8r has the mold now I believe.Looks like a Next. Ultra in the JW days never had a mold like that.
Then again, Rusty would purchase molds on the idea of building boats and paying back the owner of the mold, so who knows who built it.
Read my mind. Definitely the "Next" hull and deck. Dominator had their name on em for a while too.Looks like a Next. Ultra in the JW days never had a mold like that.

That’s what I thought…the seats in the back of the truck had Ultra embroidered on them…..may have been for a different boat.Looks like a Next. Ultra in the JW days never had a mold like that.

Was it Rusty? He apparently has been a bit elusive lately. That’s what I thought…the seats in the back of the truck had Ultra embroidered on them…..may have been for a different boat.
Makes me wonder if this was a repo trip. Was it Rusty? He apparently has been a bit elusive lately.
You might be off on years. That hull looks 12 years old.
Or the gel scheme was approved 12 years ago and it just came out of the mold
I'm not sure domin8r is even still in business, their building was sold last month and all the signage is off the buildingDomin8r has the mold now I believe.
I like the dual exit idea, though probably not something I’d use.
So just this year we’ve lost Ultra, Domin8r, and Wraith?I'm not sure domin8r is even still in business, their building was sold last month and all the signage is off the building
Ultra was lost years ago IMO.So just this year we’ve lost Ultra, Domin8r, and Wraith?
I know the guy who bought the building and it seemed like they weren't going to be back up.Ultra was lost years ago IMO.
Domin8r lease was not renewed.
Wraith, did they ever sell any to begin with
Time flies. You might be off on years.
My gel has a similar theme and my boat was sprayed in 2007
What sort of power? With the stern like that would a Mercury 400 OB work?Cruising up the 15 this afternoon…boat looked sweet and ready for some rigging.
Thanks. That reminds me, need to order a wash and get the front cap cleanedTime flies.
Great looking Rv by the way. Good call on all white, super clean
No holes in hull either. Large racket straps holding it on trailerThat’s a fat hull. Looks like a new trailer. No plates
That would make sense on the new trailer if it was saleen because last time I drove by they had a few new extreme trailers out front.Anyone recognize the saleen sticker on back of truck

I was in there once before and they running the shop seemed like a good dude, I believe he said his name was jeff. They moved to a smaller shop off commander
Was the other way around.Pretty sure that was originally an Eliminator design that they decided not to build. Next "acquired" the molds and Brent Leach started Next with it.
They made at least 5-6 of them before they were gone and then Dominator eventually acquired the molds. That gel scheme is very similar to many that Eliminator did in the mid 2000s.
I'm sure Shuman and Gelcoater know more of the details.
Yep that’s the Caliber 1 version.I know the boat looks funky but they are very functional and perform well. @Good Stuff has a Domn8er version and we boat together a lot. The back stairs are awesome for getting in and out or for sitting on while parked. Boat is super roomy inside, rides well, doesn't do anything out of the ordinary and will out perform similar boats in its class. His has, IMO, somewhat tame power and it cooks for a big deck boat, fully loaded. I wouldn't hesitate owning one.
The boat posted by the OP is a Caliber 1 version.
