Just picked up this baja from a friend. Street legal cruiser. It's a '64 bug pan with a tube chassis. Has a 13B rotary motor with fuel injection. Runs good and looks cool.
What's your plans with it? Looks too fun to just drive on the street.
Im jealous.
Have you taken it off any sweet jumps?

In the late 70’s my pops has a rail they used to race with eslinger 2.3 and 4 Mikuni carbseslinger 2.3?
You’ve got quite the stable. Let’s ask the question we all want to know. How’s the Brummett coming along?

Is the motor ported, bridge or street? The only thing that seems to quiet down a rotary is a turbo...Im sure ill buzz it around in the desert. I have a rzr which would probably blow the doors off it. But mostly just torture the town. Thing is fucking LOUD!

Looks like a lot of fun. The last baja I had was a few years "B.C." as in "Before Children" and it was only a 2276 motor.
Aside from sounding like a chainsaw on crack, I love rotary motors. Keep oil and coolant in them, and stay away from the pipestell you the truth I dont know what has been done to the motor. The guy told me (a good friend) that the motor and trans was rebuilt a while ago but has hardly any time on them.
It’s not that bad if you convert the rear seat into an oil tank.Sweet! You lost me at rotary powered though

Around 1997 or 8, my buddy had swapped over from a built type1 to a 13B, street ported and turboed. It was a JSC mid engine with no weight, and less travel. Then is it just a nuclear meltdown waiting to happen
Torture is right. I’m up on the roof wiring and plumbing up the new AC units.Im sure ill buzz it around in the desert. I have a rzr which would probably blow the doors off it. But mostly just torture the town. Thing is fucking LOUD!

Then I hear this loud thunder coming down the road.
