Hi all, mostly been a lurker, took delivery of my new Tremor yesterday. Bob and his crew were awesome to deal with, and wouldn't hesitate to do business with them in the future.

Here's a couple pics I have for now -

Nice. I like the red accents. The exhaust is really really low. By choice? Or mfg choice for db readings at idle?

Exhaust - 2 reasons, one, I wanted it low to get the platform down as low as possible for the kiddos - "normal" placement keeps the platform a little higher than I like, and with no mufflers wanted to try to keep it quiet.

Honestly, I'm not sure! I've had the kids with me so no chance to open it up really. Maybe 80ish? That's a complete guess at this point though.

My exhaust is in the same spot, the boat's quiet as it can be until you lean on the loud pedal. I get about 10 mph per 1K rpm.......I've been to 65 with a 496.

Bobs a solid guy and builder.

X2, I bought my boat used from a private party and Bob has still always been great about answering question and taking time to talk to me.:thumbsup....and I have to mention Jennifer, she's been very helpful too and hooked us up with the Shockwave swag!:thumbsup

Great looking boat. Clean lines and lots of space. I assume this was a new build? So I am just curious on the exhaust noise subject. There has not been alot of new builds to look at lately. Except DCB threads. Do new boats have to comply with some new emissions standards and also I thought they couldnt leave a new factory without some sort of muffler on the exhaust? Will a stock 525 Meet the newer DB rules right out of the box?

I will assume that Mercury did the same thing that CAT and Deere did with engines in that they build thousands and warehoused them ahead of much of the newer emissions rules on the diesel side of things.

Thanks for sharing. :thumbsup

Yessir, new build. I really liked being able to pick all the options, this being my first "custom" boat.

I honestly couldn't tell you about the DB levels, it's fairly quiet...if you stay out of the throttle.
