Glad to see some smaller boats making a come back. Beautiful boat. Hope you sell all you want to.
I have done it with both the Hill and a custom propellers from Cutting Edge Propellers. I have had the best top speeds out of the Cutting Edge cleavers. I have run 22 different propellers on this boat to get it dialed in right. It's amazing how different propellers react. The little subtle changes in rake, diameter, pitch, hub lenght and number of blades really make a difference. I wanted to make sure of the one I wanted before I purchased a Mrec Cleaver for 6000.Whose 5 blade? Merc or Hill?
Oh yeah. Outboards are super sensitive to prop changes. It's nice to know there are others now besides just Hill that offer a prop comparable to the Merc Cleaver.I have done it with both the Hill and a custom propellers from Cutting Edge Propellers. No it does not change the pitch. I changes the attitude of the boat from stern lift to bow lift.Does changing the rake change the pitch requirement at all? For example a 30p 15R to an 18R or 21R wouldn’t change the pitch any? Or does it?
Explain?Be careful running it with no windshield. I lost a friend in his cougar when he took the deflector off in search of the last few mph. 21 liberators are susceptible as well when the screen is pulled off.

Yes please do. I'd imagine it had more to do with trying to wring the last bit of mph out of the boat than the missing deflector.Explain?
Wow !He was looking for the mph but without the windshield the deck loses downforce. We stood a twin engine 21 liberator up expermenting as well.
