Hi Everyone. I'm Matt I live in Southern California. I've been reading RDP for many years and finally decided to join. My family wasn't a boating family growing up, but I have always loved boats and was lucky enough to have my friends family take me boating with them. I would tag along on trips to Havasu, Mojave and Blythe and more recently Powell. Friends in high school were ski racing so I had some exposure to that style of boat. Two years ago I finally purchased my first boat a Wellscraft 21 V-Trap with a 496 Mag from Kyle at WOT marine. I had Rene at Riverside Boat Upholstery build an all new interior. I added a GPS, new amps and speakers. I'm working on figuring out what the best prop for this boat will be. Its a little difficult because there aren't many out there and they all have different power, but that will be part of the fun.

I've been working with Cutting Edge on getting the prop dialed in. I currently have a labbed 26 Bravo One on the boat and the best I saw was 67 full of fuel and coolers. What was your speed with the 26 pitch prop.

I saw 82 on GPS down river Parker, light on fuel just me in the boat. I was running a standard bravo drive. Last I saw the boat, it had a shorty lower. The prop may be too high.

Its back to a standard length bravo lower with a nose cone. I had the prop reworked because I was seeing higher slip numbers. I haven't tested it yet but at least I now have a number to shoot for. Thanks for the response.
