Built a new hatch a couple weeks ago for my 22 Daytona

That turned out great! It fits perfect! I need to redo the one on my 24. The shop that did the interior I took them a template of the opening and told them to - 3/4” to 1”. They didn’t too tight.

We did a 1” minus, then did 2” foam on top and wrapped the top and down the sides with 1/2” foam fits like a glove
