New Build- Ultra 27 Shadow closed deck

This is the drawing of what we are taping. The boat will be shot next week and should be out of the mold in a few weeks. It is being built for our new dealer/distributor Ultra Custom Boats Midwest. It will be done for Desert Storm. He plans on coming out to Desert Storm to pick it up. Baby Blue will also be at Desert Storm this year as well as the orange 344 and possibly a new 23 Shadow and new 22 Stealth.

I still hand draw these boats, so the graphics don't really look that good compared to the guys that do them on the computer, but the final product should look pretty good.

I'll post pictures of the build as it comes along.

I just help out with the design and build of the boats. Mike (Shipping guy) handles most of the boat stuff.

Only building a few boats a year now, but planning on growing this year.

It's for a customer back East. All metallic candy orange to match his Lamborghini (no graphics). The interior is going to be bone white with black triple stitch.

I did, yes. I got it back in late 2011 and had a full inspection done. Besides one small grind spot on the bottom and some 'switching power' damage in the bilge it's perfect. I put a 525 in it and ran it all last year around LOTO, Ouachita & Hamilton. Absolutely stunning boat, but I had an offer I couldn't refuse at the Shootout. I've talked to the new owner and he wants to make the trip to Desert Storm this year.

I COMPLETELY understand. My wife is still in mourning, so that's why I'm building another. Bad thing is that 'Baby Blue' is 2 shops over from me, so we still see it almost everyday. I probably put 70+ hours on it in two months hammering it on Loto. The ride is what got us hooked. Nothing like walking over 5 footers while the V's are holding on for dear life. :cool
