Wow is it sweet!

Many mods to the design really make this a new boat vs. its predecessor.

It has a new fiberglass floor and cockpit pan from the 2750 giving it an interlined and enormous cockpit for a 24 (its really a 25 foot boat )
..and there has been work done to comply with the new EPA tank requirements.

Congrats to the new owner Ken! I want a ride!

That gel is flippin sweet!

RD

I would agree.

Im not sure I've seen a gel combo on the lower like that before.

Im thinking he's going for a particular look at the water line or on plane?

Nice to see progress and design improvements in a boat this size with V-hull. I checked the Lavey web site and there's no info on it.

Its on Facebook first under Lavey Craft Motorsports but I suspect details should hit the website soon.

I think Jr does it each time he gets back on shore leave or whatever the navy calls it.

You also need the clients permission to use your boat. I remember Jeff telling me they got sued for using a regatta picture or something like that.

Im guessing that Chris will chime in on that.

I think thats called electric blue Budman.

UD

You are correct,UncleDave.Electric blue...sort of;)
It's a 3 color blend, electric blue out of the can as the dark and two custom mixes to contrast.

He's been working his ass off.
Not only great to see a boat being built but all the small parts he's making are really taking off!

Thank you everyone for your compliments. I'll do my best to keep this thread updated first hand. In the meantime here are a few pictures of our other project builds going on in the shop! We just finished installing our RZR xp1000 doors on 2 cars and also just started our full RZR xp1000 build...

Here are a few updates on the build! The boat has gone through the color sand and buff stages. Next step will be to start cutting holes for rigging. In the pics you will see our floor liner which is a new feature for our 24!

Boats really coming along looking good.

Seems Ken upgraded to external steering ( very wise as his gimble life will be greatly extended as will high speed turning. )

Then the "goodies cart" with the parts ready to go in...these exhibited some solid choices...JL audio, hertz midranges- a nice 2 stage marine charger

Engine and drive and interior are next.

Dave,Chris needs to start a thread in the off road section featuring his doors.
I believe there's a solid market here on the forum for his product:thumbup:

Almost done- look like rigging is about done, engine/drive's on a pallet, interior pieces being fitted with stereo components etc...

I got a short demo of the interior lighting and its really cool, it has more but smaller LED's than my boat, but more color variation.

This is a VERY nice boat.

Here are some finished pictures of the 24 NuEra. You can see all the different color LED's through out the entire boat. There are many different color combos you can make, either one solid color or multiple colors. On the initial run we were able to hit 73 MPH, a little more dialing in it should run a solid 75 MPH!
