Does anyone make a 22' cat style tunnel anymore? The used market for 22' DCB Mach, Eliminator Daytona, Advantage Sport cat, & Cougar MTRs is lacking right now and I'd expect it to be better with summer approaching. Am I forgetting a brand?

I'm in the market and it seem everyone only makes larger boats now?

Wants:

Bravo XR or better
Closed bow only
GM power
EFI (Not sure a carb can be had on a new boat anymore)

I'm not even sure I'm willing to spend what a new boat costs? I haven't been able to find any pricing info on the Cougar and Sport Cat, and after covid inflation is may be 6 digits.

Uses would be 90% river, and maybe 10% Lake Mohave. Closest I'd get to Havasu is below the dam or sand bar. 80-90 mph is fine, no need to go faster than that. Also, I'm a no frills type of guy, coming from old jet boats and v drives.

The new 21 cougar with a 300r is 119k. Not apples to what you are looking for, but an example. Trick is making a new 23 and I think they are the same money with a 300r.

Kmg is making what looks a lot like the dcb mach22
liberator has a nice one too

I just saw a ad on fb about a new (I think) company “patriot boats” they’re making a 21 or 22 tunnel I can’t remember exactly.

Most will be outboard options I think?

Shockwave and Tahiti both do 22 decks. Eliminator has their 22 available with sterndrive power. Kmg doesn't do sterndrive that I'm aware of but would be worth a phone call. I do know of a mach 22 that's available if youre interested. Closed bow, 383 scorpion merc motor, I think itll run close to 80mph. Let me know if you want contact info

If you’re thinking of the mach 22 that was in New Hampshire, it sold last week to someone in Nevada.

I talked to my buddy and verified the boat was recently sold

KMG for the win. They have done that hull justice and have built some GORGEOUS boats out of those molds!!

We are producing a 21 ft boat with a 300 R Mercury or we can build you a hull that can be rigged for a jet set up if you want. These smaller boats really don't benefit from having an I/O style set up as it takes up too much interior space. If you have any questions I would be happy to speak with you about it.
