Plane was delayed 15 minutes….causes us to miss our connector flight. Mind you, we’re flying business class round trip on Turkish airlines.

They tell us these are the Options -

1) flight home direct from Istanbul to LAX MONDAY on two different airplanes! One at 8 am and one at 3pm.

2) fly to New York today two business and two economy. Then catch connection flight on fucking American two business two economy and the business class isn’t lay flat. (when I heard that I said, so we probably won’t be flying home on that flight either since they’re the worst fuckin airline in existence).

Fucking air travel is as bad as the medical industry or the U.S. court system or politics. The world is fucking ENEPT!!!! I’m about to fuckin strangle someone here. $18, 000 in airline tickets and this is what we get. I can’t fuckin believe this shit. I don’t remember the last time I was this pissed off. Seriously.

No. Just over an hour. Which I thought was way to close too. We booked lax to Athens on Turkish airlines. Both planes their planes. And I saw they do it all the time so they must know what they’re doing. Coming over, Smooth as silk even though we actually left late from lax. They made it up in the air.

Coming back. They had to check something on the plane. 15-20 minute delay. We land take a tram whatever. Go to the check in they’re like. That plane left. WTF?!

When we came over it was just over an hour connecting here as well. Connecting gate was like 4 over. When you search lax to Athens Turkish has this flight EVERYDAY sometimes twice a day and they all have just over an hour lay over. I said, they must know what they’re doing. Which they did, until there was a slight hiccup and now they can’t make it right. They act like it’s our fault…hey mother fucker, this is your airline, you caused us to be late to your connecting flight. This is your schedule. Make that shit right.

With no additional capacity in the system and full flights, little ability for airlines to work around even small hiccups. Even non-stop flights can be a time-delayed disaster. you are lucky they will honor any business / first tickets and not make all 4 economy.
