Have staff enforce the rules instead of banning them completely. Tons of riding out there, pirates cove is killing it in the winter be catering to the offroad crowd. Sucks for those who want to camp with their dirt toys and can't

If you'd put an exhaust system on, that's as quite as an electric golf cart, you wouldn't have a problem.

Most trailer parks restrict gas powered vehicle's. This place is no different. They don't want nor need your type....stay out. :D

So I get home from work and there is a early 70s orange short bed lowered Chevy truck in my driveway. Truck has a needles marina snicker or magnet on the door . So I'm curious. Walk out back and my old man is shooting the shit with this older guy. I walk up say hi yada yada yada. Come to find out he's the new owner of the marina. He's a car guy big time. So anyway alot of you probably know this but there doing alot to the marina . Starting January they're dredging the marina, adding docks, redoing the ramp, and talks of a restaurant/ bar. Which I did my best to encourage especially for up in that area they would get alot of business. There is probably alot more they're doing but I don't remember. Anyway the owner is a really cool guy. He's letting the manager run and organise the whole upgrading. Funny thing is the guy knows nothing about the boating industry, but loves what goes on there and want to improve it. Who can add more?

Did you get the contact info for the new owner? Maybe you can share this with him

I'm a fan of what they're doing, the upgrades, the ramp, the dredging and slips...etc.

However, me and 3 other RV's just passed up on reserving 3 nights at Needles Marina, due to their "no Side by side, atv, motorcycle" policy. It's riding season, it would be a great place to camp in an RV, and take your off road vehicle to explore all the local riding and trails. I think if he lifted this policy, he'd get alot more business. I understand they don't want to cause a rukus with the snowbirds, but if you just enforced the speed limit inside the park, and restricted the off road vehicles to "in and out" operation, you'd get some of that business that Pirates Cove is overflowing with in the off-season (non boating season). FYI - Pirates is almost 100% booked this coming weekend. They are off-road friendly.

Most RV parks in Havasu allow rzr's, rhino's, etc to be operated as well....they just establish rules. A SxS is the perfect vehicle to take to load the boat with Ice and food, to run from the RV to the general store and spend some $$$.....LET THEM IN!

Pass the word ! ! ! !
