The show is Saturday 2/22 but the weekend, for me, starts Thursday afternoon and ends Monday noonish...

Decisions, decisions, thinking about running up in the boat but not sure about the pucker factor at the mouth of the river. Hopefully the water rises up a little this week.

I'll be going down at it from Needles. They have been flowing an average of about 12K/day. that's pretty good. I have heard the levels in the river have been fine. I don't know about the lake though. Looks like Havasu has been coming up steadily but slowly. It's at 446.5' today, and should be 446.9 on the 23rd. 448.0 by March 9th though.

That will probably work! Beers with the Johnsons on Friday night, fast boats Saturday and cocktails with the old schoolers Saturday night!

I have to leave for New Orleans for a week on Sunday, and the jock-bozo drill in order to get back on time is too much to deal with. Next year!!!

The above strikes me as the ice cream that falls out of the cone at first lick...

Like the biggest present under the tree is full of underwear...

Like an open bow, string puller with a jet lower...

Like RD using 'disorientatedly' in an article...

Like maybe I should spit the hook as well...(never gonna happen Wes...just wanted you to feel better for a moment)

I'm not happy about it... But I have to be in Slidell, LA at 0800 on Monday. Latest flight I could get left here at 3:00 on Sunday, which is 2:00 at the airport and 1:00 leaving the house. Which means 0500 leaving Needles, or the night before.

F-that.

I am bummed though. It's a great event, and I had a blast last year.
