My son's Mastercraft is running rough and needs its yearly service before the season. Most likely the fuel pump but who knows. Does anyone have a trusted mechanic/boat shop to recommend?

I just moved here and took my boat to Jett Performance to reseal my pump and intake.

I liked his work and thought he was a pretty "stand-up" guy.

He is more on the "race boat" side of things IMO. But hey, give him a call and see if you like what he has to say.

I’ve heard great things about octane. No experience with them personally.

Isn’t there a Mastercraft dealer there? Ski boats have electronics that are brand specific. I’d take it to the dealer for that type of issue. For a service take it wherever you trust, Octane would be my pick.

When Boulder Boats was sold to Tommy’s the lead mechanic went independent. He’s located in the North Scottsdale area.

Only the user interface is proprietary. All the engine components that would have anything to do with runability, whether it be Indmar or Ilmor, is generic GM marine stuff

Yes true I was thinking the dash and that type of stuff, I reread that he thinks it’s a fuel pump so that’s gonna be a part anyone can order. They should all be Nema 2000…

I took my tige to Laken watersports and they did a really good job, it had some electrical issues and they traced it down and rewired it for me. I would highly recommend.
