I know it's an extreme long shot. I am looking for a storage unit in Havasu long term. I would prefer a 50' unit, but I am open to anything at this point. Please let me know if anyone is thinking about giving one up. Thanks in advance!!

I have been looking for a month now. I am on a bunch of waitlists but secured a spot in Needles to wait it out for Havasu.

I have been searching several months now as well. I need it for business, so Needles will not work.

Good Luck in yore search. It's a tough market these days. 50' is going to be even more rare of a find!

I've always wondered if the people behind building new storage units - city council, planning commission etc - might possibly own storage units...😕😕

That would work out well. Are you in a lease that can be transfered?
It’s low key. Just some Canadian guy that owns a bunch and leases them out month to month. I’ll connect you with him so you can work the details out with him before it hits the open market. You will need to be in havasu to do the paperwork fyi.

Owner didn’t give me a remote so it’s a real pain in the dick because you have to get out, walk around the truck and enter a code at the keypad. Not sure if you could work a remote into the deal but I’d recommend it.

Facility is clean with nice bathrooms

Units have power and lights which is nice.

My guys use the unit, I typically only go there for the dumpsters. Great opportunities for picking, people literally empty their boats and units into the dumpster. Lots of great finds have been had. Then I throw my trash on top. Rv dump too if you need one.

This sounds perfect for my.needs. I will definitely see if I can get a remote. The dumpster access will be great as well!

This place is going up fast
Can't believe they're already sold out.
Big garages too
With that name it must be owned by someone involved in Indy Car racing.

12x45 at loc n leave. It’s $400/mo. We are planning to move out end of next month.

Prices are outta control.. I pay 375 for one and it has an electric gate / electric garage door opener.. about the nicest units in havasu

It’s pretty amazing that despite the fact that they have rezoned all of our C-2 for storage which is bullshit, there is still such an extraordinary demand for more storage. Makes me think many units sit empty because the tenants knows they can’t get another once they give it up.

They are a building a huge one along the entrance road to the refuge, big project funded by one of the residents, my guess though is they will be condo style for sale.

Due to the current high prices for land and building costs a storage project in Havasu city limits won't pencil out as a for rent storage complex. Most of the storage projects will be for sale units until pricing comes back to some semblance of normality.

Yep, We let ours sit vacant for over a year when we sold our boat a few years ago because we didn't want to be left hanging when we got a new one. Wasn't fun paying for it, but in the end we felt it was worth it.... Thankfully we had paid for the year in advance so we weren't cutting monthly checks.

What really sucks is in 2019 we were renting a 45'er at "Sun n Sand" on London Bridge Road when the owner decided he wanted to sell it for 50k.... We let that one go and have regretted is since.
