I bought this about 6 years ago with the intention of fixing it up and keeping it but money was tight. I bought it for $500 from the guy's daughter, who was here to take care of her father's affairs after his death. She didn't know what it was worth. It had a torn tarp covering it and water was pouring in for 5 years before I bought it. So the seats are rotted and of course, the guy pulled the air cleaner off along with the carb, so water was pouring into the engine as well. I have a great hull, good Berkeley, good gauges and cables. I need an engine cover, seats, engine, carburetor and air cleaner. Someone please help.

Have you got any pictures? My setup has the 2 back to back front seats with the seats slightly wider on the right side and I also have the 2 jump seats on each side of the motor. Is that the same type of setup you have?

These are the only pictures of the boat I have right now.. I can probably dig some up though.

The drivers side has a portion where some stitching has failed, and the cushions are "tired" and IMO need new foam. (truthfully I'd have them all recovered) If your just looking for the wood though, you can have them reupholstered relatively in expensively. I'm thinking you will either have to modify or remake the engine cover, as this one was built for a small block I/O setup. I would think you could use this as a pattern though and just extend it 4 - 6 inches or so.

I always felt these seats were very "low" but this is was came stock in the Spectras back then.

I do appreciate it and I wish I could. As it is, I'm spending money we don't have because I'm tired of watching it just sit there rotting away. My wife is gonna be pissed when she sees what I've been spending and will be spending on it, but come spring, she'll forgive me when we're in it on Lake George, NY...lol I'll post some pictures for whoever's interested. But for now, I've got to keep costs as low as possible. I've already found a rebuildable carburetor in nice shape for $80, and I just found the starter we bought 5 years ago for it. So that leaves the seats, engine cover, and long block, for the most part.

These are the only pictures of the boat I have right now.. I can probably dig some up though.

That would be great if you could. What are you looking to get for them, ballpark? Thanks.

I don't know why, but for some reason I was under the impression you were in southern california. It would probably cost more to ship everything to you then it'd be worth.

I was thinking 3 - 400 bucks for the whole interior if your curious.

That is a great price. It would probably cost just as much to ship though. I wasn't thinking about that.lol I could always try Uship.com I guess.

By the time I crated all this shit up, you'd be into it a grand at least.. Your better off just having someone build you some seats I'm thinking.

You're right. The foam on my seats still look okay. The boat only had 109 original hours on it, but the wood is rotted. I can still use them as templates, I think.

That leaves the engine. I need a plain jane 460 long block or even a short block, because I can rebuild my heads. But I need one that runs. Anyone?

Okay, I have a motor, carb and will have my seats redone. For whoever is interested, I'll post some before pictures in the forum, now that I have what I need.
