Need New Home A/C System

Are there any RDP members that own/ work in the a/c business? I am in need of a new condenser for sure ( what I was told by the tech ) I would probably replace the whole system. In the IE area, Mira Loma. If anyone is interested let me know. Thanks.

I love my Bryant evolution system. Variable speed air handler and condenser . Pulls 6 amps on start up. Crazy savings on energy. Mine is 6 years old I’m sure they are even better now

That’s awesome. I really think I’d like to go to a variable speed unit when it’s my turn to replace.

Before I go searching any real numbers on the savings with a new install? Mine is the original from 2001- two systems. my electric bill has been growing past our solar system due to the pool and electric car, but I am thinking it may be better to replace the HVAC instead of adding another 4-5 KW panel system.

For sure. We are doing that with many of our clients going to variable speed compressor or VRV type systems. My system was sized for a pool but not the EV fortunately we went with a really high efficiency systems so shouldn’t be too bad once the pool is complete.

Without seeing it couldnt tell you. It there are slimline ducted systems for low clearance attics.

Another vote for RB. Love the Daikin VRV system Billl and Nexgen installed. Another plus if there is a hiccup along the way they are on top of it immediately!!! Customer service is awesome.

As for the solar comments I still have to change out and update my pool pump to variable. But the decrease in cost from the AC has me close to even on my SCE bill now.

We used dynamic when riverbound was there. Unfortunately last few experiences haven’t been great. Eventually I’ll switch to next gen but I’m still on a plan with dynamic.

Lennox, cannot buy a circuit board for the last 6 months and now they just bumped all order's for units to next year.
Trane, boards the same, coils 6 months out.
York, same as trane issues.
Rheem has units but no parts..

We are repairing 90% non OEM parts for the past year...for all manufacturers...
