Need help shipping or small warehousing?

I am looking for small business that needs help with small warehousing, shipping, material handling, or possible light assembly depending on complexity and scope. In the slow economy we are in I am looking for a way to keep my employees busy and in their jobs and pay a little overhead, nothing more. I have complete UPS Worldship system in house, shipping department, shipping supplies as needed, assembly of small component capability, etc., or related. I have space to warehouse small products in quantity within our new (to us) 16000 foot facility in San Dimas, CA. If you have a holiday seasonal or even long term need in all or any of these areas please contact me with your ideas. I am looking to create a win-win business partnership be it temporary or longer term.

How are you at crating engines?

I will need to ship it once it gets run on the dyno.

Barry we can assist with the engine as necessary if you want to build the crate here and ship from here it is not a problem. I have forklifts and quite a bit of material laying around (wood). And lots of pallets. (that are for sale btw, roughly 60 at this time with more to come for anyone that might need some).

Hello Yellowboat, I saw your reply in the small warehousing ad that was posted.

You said you have "Two Clients looking for Pick&Pack services."

My company offers this service. We are located in Simi Valley, CA. We can receive containers from overseas, warehouse, add or subtract items, assemble, palletize, and ship orders daily with UPS, FEDX or common carrier.

We are current with EDI and UPC requirements.

Were big enough company to know all the rules of the game but small enough to give personal individualize service.

I'm trying to save a layoff or 2 and pay some overhead in a very depressed performance marine industry. 3rd party warehousing and shipping are not my core biz but we are quite experienced in warehousing and shipping.

This guy pops up and spams his company that is his core business for profit << very not cool imo. If he wants to talk to Yellowboat send him a friggin pm for Christ's sake. Common sense just isn't that common these days.

I didn't take what he wrote as pissin on your corn flakes either.. YB said wish you were closer being that this guy is all the way out in Simi valley he took a shot that maybe he'd be in the neighborhood.. I dunno about all the profit / non profit biz etc..

I have some calls into a few injection moulders in riverside / city of industry etc.. For you to see if they can use your service.

I see it a bit different but so be it. If PM were the issue its easy to post "yellowboat I can help you" give me a call or some such with phone and leave it at that. Posting contact and complete service capability info in my thread (being that he's stated he is in the biz of warehousing) imo just erodes my effort and is nothing more than spam on his behalf. I'm not going to dwell on it though. I figure if anyone here was interested I'd have already heard from them at this point. I will just let the thread fade out now.
