Doing a few upgrades on my 05 Conquest Cat 2. It’s at Conquest installing the newer style front fiberglassed in step and repairs to keels from normal beaching in havasu .

I’m looking at updating my gauges and shifter and looking for suggestions in colors. I plan on going with Livorsi gauges with the Mega rim and bezel. My year Conquest will not fit monster sized gauges unfortunately. Livorsi dash designer was not working and CP Performance was of no help in there email.

I would like to incorporate some polished ss into my dash while maintaining some blue as I will be updating switch panel in polished ss.

I originally thought of doing blue bezel and pss rim, but based on Deano’s posts a few years ago of his Conquest restoration, his 3 3/8 gauges looked bigger keeping bezel and rim the same colored finish imho. I’ll include a picture of his.

So, I’m looking for ideas or possibly a pic of yours with the combinations I’m thinking about.

Option1
PSS rim and bezel, white face, blue numbers and blue needle or suggested color

#2
PSS rim and bezel., platinum face, blue numbers

#3
PSS rim and bezel, grey carbon face, blue numbers

I’ll post what my dash looks like now, and Deano’s finished dash on his project

Thx in advance

I may update switch panel to Conquest new push button panel if logistically it works out, if not I’ll just replace to a PSS like Deano did. Attached is new switch’s and a dash that fits monsters

Boat I’m restoring for a customer now has 8 -2 1/16 and 2 - 3 3/8 gauges.
More than my liking but I gotta fill the holes and make like an old engine builder told me…”it’s the customer’s elevator, he gets to punch the buttons”
Everyone has a personal preference.
Me, I love classic SW gauges and on my builds, what gauges, as few as possible I’ll use SW.
On boats like most on this forum, I think the new digital screens are really cool.
So on this build, owner wanted Livorsi gauges.
I wanted to go with something that looked classy and not jump off the dark dash.
I chose the combination below(except I went with a blue needle) and also put a custom Logo on it where the Teague logo is in the picture.
The gauges are due in this week.
I’ll throw a picture up when they come in.

That would be great, I think that’s my option 2. Pss rim, platinum face, blue numbers, blue needle which is what I want to see. I’m between the white and platinum face and I think the blue numbers and needle will be a nice touch allowing me to add the pss and keeping some blue

is this the same boat, last pic is pre 2006 style, other pics are post 2006 style which is what I wish I had for monsters
3 different boats. Last pick is a modified old style and other 2 are both new style, a TC2 and a TC1

thats what I thought, wish I could modify dash to fit the monsters. Anyone have polished rim, white face, blue numbers and blue needle, can’t seem to find an image, hopefully Livorsi responded to my email with image, CP was of zero help

You may ask on the conquest owners Facebook page
Saleen could probably modify the dash

So other than i did green needle.
Also to go to a 5” isn’t bad vs the 3 3/8” as long as there’s room in dash.

Thx, unfortunately the 5” won’t fit on 2005 and older per Conquest

Damn just looked that the original photos and now see. I think doing a blue bezel ring like we did in @Springfield ’s boat would look good and help make them pop. While still using the 3 3/8 & 2” gauges.

Apparently they no longer use metal pointers that you can customize your color. Numbers I can still change, haven't been provided blue color options for numbers. Been like pulling teeth to get proofs or info..

They went to plastic pointers only about two years ago now. However they do have a handful of options still.
My print is called Smurf illusion, based upon the powder from Prismatic, i have a 5” dial with 4-5 blues on it, i could send but absolutely need it back after all is done.

As others have stated there was some ball dropping between Teague/Livorsi, but I did get 7 out of the 10 I needed(none of the harnesses and sending units either).
Stuck them in the Dash to see how the look.
I like it!
I think the blue picks up the blue in the striping well.
Most times I look at sport boat gauges and find them kinda over the top.
I prefer understated, less is better and a design that is timeless.
These I think fit the bill pretty well.
For some reason they look a little light in the pictures. The face is platinum.

It must be the camera in the last pic, the grey shows now but numbers and pointer look purplish. How long did it take to get the gauges. Man I hate trying to make a chose not looking at them in person, I had hoped Livorsi would have attended the la boat show

My new gauges arrive Monday and will post some pic. Went straight to Livorsi. Would have been difficult through a 3rd party.

Mega race series with stainless bezels, silver carbon dial with black lettering, lime green for thr needles and white back light at night. Thought of going lime green on the lettering but was a $300 upgrade and already spent a small fortune on these.

Pointer looks purplish on a few here, but not as much when compared to bezel. These are white faces

I’ll try to get a more natural picture tomorrow. Maybe get it in the sun.
The blue is a great shade and really looks good over the platinum face.

Carlsbad.
I’m around all day tomorrow.
Got guys here all day. Going to lunch about 11:30, cocktails and bench racing start around 1 if you want to come by.
I’ll be driving East on the 91 passing the 71 about 7:15 to 7:30 on Monday morning on my way to Vegas to work for the week.
Could meet you at, is it Green Valley? Just west of the 71. I’ll bring a gauge along.

That platinum brushed finish with blue paint looks fantastic.

We did Livorsi platinum brushed back with black lettering and brushed flat bezels and anodized purple rings on our top gun.

Did blue face with white lettering with chrome bezel and brushed grey ring on our current boat.

One thing I’d I would recommend is go with the “fatter” larger bezel instead of the flatter style bezel. It looks 100 times better and richer.

You can see the difference in our two installs below.

Agreed. A little too thin for my liking.
Owners choice!😁
As I’ve said before…it’s their elevator, they get to push the buttons.

I met with Clank123 on the boards to show me the gauges he’s installing. I ordered the platinum face, blue numbers and pointer, mega polished rim. Also ordered new throttle controls. Absolute is going to install everything when it comes in. Pretty excited. Just installed new decking by Bladescustomdecking in Parker
