Any recommendations? Cost? It's approximately 15' x 20' area in the backyard that is destined to be the new bbq / r&r spot. Fully accessible.

thanks

Sounds about 3.25 CY of concrete so just say 4cy. You'll maybe have a short load charge so say $100 cy x 4. Call Cambell Redi-mix to get the actual price of the concrete and short load fee. Double that price to get labor the costs ($400). You'll be in the ballpark by about $100 or so for concrete and finish. So I would say under $1k for all, barring any extra grading.

I used bunkrepair's (on these boards) dad to pour my RV slab out there. Do it before it gets hot. Not like me when I had it poured in July or August.

You might want to try River Pig. He does concrete on the side and is very good.

A crew of guys? WTF, it's only 300 SF! If two guys can't form and pour it then they got bigger problems. This is more of a side job deal. You don't need the f'n Cement Mason's Union to do this work. :D

Yes, Havasu rates. It's not like the economy is booming out there right now.

Over $11 a SF? Damn, you in the Klondike area of Alaska? :D

It's a tight squeeze between 2 buildings and they had to set it up with anchors/templates for Strongwalls...It's SF buddy, everything is fucking expensive.

Cutting Edge Concrete 928 5055373. Great quality, good prices, does what he says, goes beyond just 'minimum service'. I'm very picky having tried to work with a number of Havasu contractors on different projects. Paolo is working on my own house (not a flipper), he and his crew are the best I have found in Havasu.

X2 He did my driveway and stucco on my RV garage about 7 years ago. Theres a reason he is still in business in Havasu. :thumbsup

Thanks for the feedback. No, It's not a big job...just filling a spot in the yard to match the rest. Any other ideas would be welcome. Pops is out there now... I'll pass this along.
