Yes. Studs are snapped off. Looks like I just have to buy an exhaust housing.
Did you let Milk Money know what happened before you went public?
I think milkbone was on the boat with him and saw it land.
I might have a couple spares...I'll check tonight. Mine are the normal ones, not the Offshore units like yours though.

Sorry can't resist
was following "big steve" in his War-canoe in Delta last year and his Merc 3.2 stroker 300XS had exact same failure at 100mph,identical to your pik where it took section of mid housing with itwe were gonna drag or dive for it,but never did..OK by me as that water has less then foot visibility most time of year, also with those speeds,no telling exact location
I'd probably drown
Either way you wouldn't have to worry about it any longer.

Surprised it took 7 pages for this
It's a 15". If you have one.
Shit...nope, all I found a few 20" mids. This is what happened to our (not really our...the guys I was crewing for) 15" mid on the last lap at the Parker 336/300/whatever it was called last year.

I run a 20" with a jack plate to get the propshaft near the keel on my boat. Was that a factory 15" mid or a welded deal?
Did Later find his lower yet?
I have a spare 15 inch drive shaft little rust in the water pump area. Did you bang the rev limiter?
Yes. It's an ET. [emoji1418]I tried ten props. This thing worked so well. But a welded on blade? I've seen a vdrive come apart after throwing a blade. Didn't know an outboard could do it too.
The blades are welded on??? Is that how they're made new, or was it a repair?

They are not welded on. All but one ET I have had broke. These props have a very finite life span. Especially for what they go for.
By the way the studs are sheared off there has been some funny business going on.
So who found it and recovered it.It's been recovered
